The New York chapter of LAI held its monthly meeting on May 18, 2023 at Fordham University, Lincoln Center Campus. Our special guest was Barry Stein from Rohman and Stein. Mr. Stein is a mortgage broker with more than 40 years of real estate experience that specializes in placing debt among community and area banks in the New York City region. His territory includes New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties. Mr. Stein provided our group real insight to the mortgage industry and its behavior during the rising interest rate environment. A lively discussion followed.
