 ate Institute.\n\n\n\nFrancis J. Greenburger\nFrancis J. Greenburger is an
  American real estate developer\, literary agent\, art collector\, and phi
 lanthropist with a career spanning six decades and a lifelong commitment t
 o art\, education\, and justice reform.  He is the Founder\, Chairman\, a
 nd Chief Executive Officer of Time Equities Inc. Founded in 1966\, Time Eq
 uities\, Inc. (“TEI”) is a diversified investment\, development\, asse
 t and property management\, licensed real estate brokerage\, and alternati
 ve energy company that has been in business for 60 years.\nThe TEI portfol
 io includes approximately 46.8 million square feet of residential\, indust
 rial\, office\, retail\, and mixed use property including about 5\,200 mul
 ti-family apartment units\, approximately 1 million square feet in pending
  acquisitions\, and 2.3 million square feet of various property types in s
 tages of pre-development and development.\nHe also services on the board o
 f multiple education and justice reform not-for-profit organizations and i
 s an active donor to over 100 charitable organizations.  Mr. Greenburger 
 graduated from Baruch College in 1974 with a degree in Public Administrati
 on.  He is an avid tennis player and traveler.  He resides in Manhattan

 arr\nLAI NY Chapter President Jason Barr is a professor of economics at Ru
 tgers University-Newark.  Dr. Barr received his bachelor’s degree from 
 Cornell University (1992) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia Universit
 y (2002).  Dr. Barr is the author of the books Building the Skyline: The 
 Birth and Growth of Manhattan’s Skyscrapers (OUP\, 2016) and Cities in t
 he Sky: The Quest to Build the World’s Tallest Skyscrapers (Scribner\, 2
 024).  His research has been featured in The Washington Post\, The Econom
 ist\, Curbed.com\, and Architectural Record.  His writings have appeared 
 in The New York Times\, StarTrek.com\, Dezeen.com\, Scientific American\, 
 and the Irish Independent.  He currently writes the Skynomics Blog\, a bl
