 oklyn Borough President\n\nAntonio Reynoso is the Brooklyn Borough Preside
 nt.  The son of two Dominican immigrants\, Mr. Reynoso was born and raise
 d in Los Sures\, Williamsburg\, just three blocks away from where he lives
  today with his wife and two sons.  In 2021\, Antonio became the youngest
  Borough President elected to a four-year term\, the first Latino to hold 
 the office in the borough\, and the first Dominican to be elected as a Bor
 ough President in NYC.  Since then\, he’s launched a history-making mat
 ernal health agenda and championed planning for a healthy\, housed Brookly
 n.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n Michael Lappin - Managing Director of MLappin &amp\; Ass
 ociates\, LLC\n\nMichael D. Lappin is the Managing Director of MLappin &am
 p\; Associates\, LLC\, a company providing both advisory and development s
 ervices for affordable housing.  From 1980 to 2011 he was the President o
 f the Community Preservation Corporation (CPC).  Under his leadership\, n
 early $8 billion was invested for the building and redevelopment of over 1
 47\,000 homes.  He has widely written and lectured in the field of afford
 able housing and community development.  He is also a member of the LAI N
 ew York Chapter.\n\n\n Matthew Murphy - Executive Director of the NYU Furm
 an Center\n\nMatthew Murphy is the Executive Director of the NYU Furman Ce
 nter.  Previously\, he served as Deputy Commissioner for the Office of Po
 licy and Strategy for the New York City Department of Housing Preservation
  and Development (HPD)\, and was responsible for creating strategies to ad
 vance HPD's housing policy objectives and overseeing initiatives to help a
 chieve agency goals and improve operations.   Matt has a Masters Degree 
 in Urban Planning from the NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
   He holds an undergraduate degree from DePaul University.\n\n\nPanel Mod
 erator: \n\n Ingrid Gould Ellen - Paulette Goddard Professor of Urban Poli
 cy and Planning at the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Fa
 culty Director at the NYU Furman Center\n\nIngrid Gould Ellen is the Paule
 tte Goddard Professor of Urban Policy and Planning at the NYU Wagner Gradu
 ate School of Public Service and Faculty Director at the NYU Furman Center
 . She is currently the President-Elect of the Association for Public Polic
 y and Management and previously served as the president of the American Re
 al Estate and Urban Economics Association. Professor Ellen has written num
 erous peer-reviewed articles related to housing policy\, neighborhood chan
 ge\, and segregation.  Professor Ellen has held visiting positions at the
  Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT\, the U.S. Department of 
 Housing and Urban Development\, the Urban Institute and the Brookings Inst
