 Tour\n\nInformation on the redevelopment project\n\n\n\n\nThis event is jo
 int with the Fordham Real Estate Institute Student Association (FREISA). 
  \n\n\n\n\nJoin us for this LAI MEMBERS ONLY walking tour to learn about 
 the redevelopment of the Gowanus Canal Neighborhood.  Starting in 2010\, 
 clean up of the canal was initiated (though is still ongoing)\, and the ne
 ighborhood was rezoned for residential. Today\, it is an up-and-coming Bro
 oklyn community.\n\nThe group tour will be followed by an informal network
 ing social at:\n\nFinback Brewery\n\n545 President Street\, Brooklyn\, NY 
 11215\n\n7:00 PM - 9:00 PM\n\nRAIN DATE for this event will be on Wednesda
 y\, June 10.\n\nYou only need to register for the tour.  The networking e

 n\nSagi Golan\n\nSagi\, AIA\, isSenior urban design leader with more than 
 a decade of experience advancing neighborhood planning\, zoning strategy\,
  and public realm transformation in New York City.  He currently serves a
 s a Senior Advisor for Urban Design at the NYC Department of City Planning
 .  He leads the urban design strategy for major rezonings and citywide pl
 anning initiatives\, helping enable over 42\,000 new housing units\, inclu
 ding more than 13\,000 permanently affordable homes\, while advancing infr
 astructure\, public space\, and climate resilience investments.  He also 
 serves as a lecturer and studio coordinator at Columbia University GSAPP\,
  and is a frequent speaker and juror at national and international urban d
 esign forums.\n\n\n\nNatalia Zawisny\nNatalia is a Design and Construction
  Project Manager at Domain Companies\, a real estate developer based in Ne
 w York City.  She oversees the full design and construction process for D
 omain's development projects\, with primary responsibilities spanning cont
 ractor and consultant oversight\, schedule and budget management\, and inv
 estor relations.  At Domain\, Natalia has been an integral part of the te
 am bringing 420 Carroll St in Gowanus to completion.  Prior to joining Do
 main\, Natalia accumulated two years of experience as a Design and Constru
 ction Manager at Pace University and Twitter.  Before transitioning into 
 development\, she spent seven years as a structural engineer at Thornton T
 omasetti\, giving her a deep technical foundation that informs her work at
  every stage of a project.  Natalia holds a Master of Engineering from MI
